• Go to YouTube (I know an obvious step)
• You are going to start with very broad terms that you think people will type in on your niche. This is going to allow you to find some users that are somewhat related to you. (take note on what comes up)
• Open up a new browser for this one. Now is the time to drill down deep, type in some more specific terms. (again take note of what comes up)
• You are going to copy all the usernames you can from the broad term into notepad.
• Now you are going to copy all the more specific video usernames into notepad.
• Note this isn’t step but I thought I would throw it in there. If you hate taking the time to do the copy and pasting you can go to oDesk and hire workers to do the job for about $.80 an hour.
• Now select “Gather username’s subscribers”. (please note make sure you don’t gather users you have already gathered before. To do this simply uncheck “add gathered videos”.
• I always set the max pages to twenty five at this point (to be safe)
• Next we are going to be adjusting the filters. To do this simply go to the filters option and, and then click “Add”. Make sure you check “User has logged into YouTube” and set that to a month. We don’t want any inactive users, only users that participate. Then you guessed, click OK.
• Now, click “send friend request”. I usually have by delay set to minimum of 1 min 30 seconds and my maximum 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
